Centra Southside Community Hospital

Centra Southside Community Hospital (CSCH) offers Prepared Childbirth Classes for expectant parents. A new class begins every 12 weeks. The classes meet on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. in the First Floor Conference Room of the hospital. The cost for the program is $55.00. The next series of classes begin on September 25th – October 30th, 2011.

• Conditioning exercises

• Relaxation and breathing techniques

• Stages and phases of labor

• When to go to the hospital

• Delivery options

• Anesthesia information

• Breast or bottle feeding information

• Helps and adjustments to parenthood
